Meditations

I heard Mipham Rincpoche speak yesterday, while at lunch. I followed the same as a meditation for the past two days.

At the wake of the day, when I get a moment during the day, the meditation:
"It's going to be a good day. It is always a good day for me."

The meditation is as follows:

1. I hope that typing these words make me happy.
2. I hope waking up makes me happy.
3. I hope brushing the teeth makes me happy.
4. I hope washing the body makes me happy.
5. I hope combing the hair makes me happy... and so on...

Making this a constant meditation, showed me that we can only be in the moment with this meditation. And it is in the simple things that happiness lies. It's only in simplicity that we find happiness and contentment. Happiness lies in Gratitude.

When being in with some one, compassionate, kind, loving listening, looking into their eyes with the following meditation:
"I hope this person finds happiness and peace."

When people pass us by, the following meditation:
"I hope this person finds happiness and peace."

When I am by myself, the following meditation:
"May all the beings be happy."

Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavnathu.
"May all the beings in all the worlds be happy."

It has helped me be in the moment. The meditation has helped me be happy. The meditation has helped me be at peace. The meditation has helped me loving. The meditation has helped me be true to my Self.

With much love...
